Article II: Principles and Values

Section 1. Principals and Intentions

We intend to operate the Gnodi Blockchain to meet the following purposes and serve the following principals:

• Decentralization: This principle reflects the belief that control, decision-making, and value creation should not be centralized, but actively shared and shaped by the community of participants. In a decentralized network like the Gnodi Blockchain, individuals actively contribute to innovation, governance, and economic activity, and are directly rewarded for their participation, ensuring that the evolution of the network is driven by the collective actions and consensus of its users, rather than by any central entity. • Autonomy: The principle that individuals have the freedom to control their participation, contributions, identity, and value creation within the network, without reliance on a centralized authority. Each participant may independently decide how they engage with the Gnodi Blockchain, how much they contribute, and how they benefit from its growth and innovation. • Transparency: We believe that the fundamental fairness of a blockchain lies in the transparency of all activity that impacts the network. including records, participant behavior, contributions, and value creation. Accordingly, we ensure that transactions are recorded in a transparent ledger accessible to all participants. • Security: We believe that decentralized blockchains resist attacks better because they lack a single point of failure. Accordingly, we maintain and protect the decentralized nature of the Gnodi Blockchain. • Efficiency and Cost Reduction: We believe that eliminating intermediaries will reduce transaction costs and streamline processes. Therefore, we intend to operate the Gnodi Blockchain in such a way to eliminate these costs and risks. • Censorship Resistance: We believe that, when no single entity controls an organization, it is less susceptible to censorship in order to serve the wishes of the controlling entity. Accordingly, we intend to maintain the decentralized nature of our blockchain, to protect participation and expression from such censorship.

Section 2: Operation

We believe that the above principles may only be put into effect by an effective system of operation. We believe that these principles are served by the decentralization of mechanisms through a system of node ownership by individuals, effected by the following:

  • License Ownership: Individuals or entities may purchase a node license to operate and support the Gnodi Blockchain, helping power the network while participating in its governance and reward system, for a set fee. Any individual or entity may own a Gnodi node, subject to any limitations as established by the Gnodi Blockchain as set forth herein

  • Software Operation: Node owners agree to operate the blockchain software on their own devices or through approved virtual environments (such as VPN-hosted servers). By doing so, they contribute computing resources that enable Delphi applications, third-party applications integrated with and supported by the Gnodi DAO, to function, process data, and maintain network performance.

  • Rewarding Participation: In return for their active contributions to the network, node owners receive Gnodi digital rewards, which can be redeemed within the broader Gnodi ecosystem, including participating products, services, and solutions that recognize and accept these rewards as utility value.

  • Growing the Community: Node owners may earn additional Gnodi digital rewards by actively contributing to the decentralized ecosystem through innovation, infrastructure support, user adoption initiatives, and actions that advance the sustainability and real-world impact of the Gnodi network.

Section 3: Organic Documentation

The node owners shall review and approve such other documents as they may deem necessary and appropriate to the operation of the Gnodi Blockchain, including but not limited to an Operating Agreement; a code of conduct; policies and procedures for the resolution of disputes; and a fiscal policy guide. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no policy, procedure or other document shall be of any force and effect in the event that, and/or to the extent that, it conflicts with any part of this Constitution.

Consistent herewith, the Gnodi Blockchain has published a White Paper, available at Gnodi White Paper | Gnodi, which articulates certain goals, policies, procedures, and other operational components of the Gnodi Blockchain. We have found the White Paper to be consistent and not in conflict with this Constitution. Therefore, we adopt the White Paper and it shall serve as the foundational guidance for the operation of the Gnodi Blockchain.
